Better futures. Be More Initiative CIC exists to help every generation stop waiting and start becoming.
Be More Initiative CIC is built around that simple but powerful question. This philosophy is reflected in founder Natasha Amadi's book, 40by40: 40 Things I Wish I Did More Before 40, which explores the lessons, opportunities and intentional choices we often recognise only when looking back.
Be More Initiative takes that message from the pages into the community. We create opportunities for women, young people and older adults to act now: to build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing, form meaningful connections, discover purpose and contribute to their communities.
Because becoming more should not be something we wish we had done. It should be something we choose to do now.
Thriving communities where every generation has the confidence, connection and opportunity to live well, lead and contribute.
To move people from survival to becoming more through preventative wellbeing, empowerment, skills, leadership and community connection.
We meet people where they are and create pathways that help them move forward.
Empowering women to find their voice, build confidence, strengthen wellbeing and step into leadership and decision-making spaces.
Equipping young people early with the confidence, life skills, financial awareness, resilience and opportunities many adults later wish they had developed sooner.
Supporting older adults to remain active, connected and independent while creating opportunities to share their experience, wisdom and skills with younger generations.
40by40 asks: "What do I wish I had done more?" Be More asks: "Why wait?"
That thinking shapes our approach to community development: start earlier, connect deeper, live healthier, learn continuously, lead confidently, give back, become more.
We believe prevention is not only about stopping problems. It is about creating possibilities before opportunities are lost.
40 Things I Wish I Did More Before 40 — by founder Natasha Amadi. The book that explores the lessons, opportunities and intentional choices we often recognise only when looking back, and the starting point for Be More Initiative's work.
We believe every stage of life holds the possibility for growth and contribution.
Deliberate choices, made now, rather than looked back on with regret.
Building confidence, self-belief and independence at every stage of life.
Meaningful relationships between generations and across communities.
Welcoming, accessible opportunities designed for everyone.
Continuous learning and development, whatever your starting point.
Collaborative work aimed at lasting, positive change.
To build a recognised community movement — originating in Wigan — that demonstrates what becomes possible when people are given the connection, confidence, skills and opportunities to take ownership of their next chapter.
